I am selling a 1998 Kia Sportage EX 4WD. The SUV has been a great car for my wife and family. My wife is having a hard time with us selling but we have too many cars. This is what she drove to work for the last few years and doesn’t want to be without it during the winter months with snow on the ground. This has been her baby.
The car has experience. It has been around the block and has a few scars to show for it. We call it “character.” It isn’t a car you worry about being parked in a parking lot and having someone bump it with their door. It still drives great and just passed a safety inspection. We don’t know of any problems with the car except that the tires barely passed inspection. Everything runs great.
We are asking $2,500 for the Kia. The book on this vehicle ranges from $3,000 to $4,000. It is in fair condition and we want to sell it fast. We have too many cars and need to reduce our car insurance payments. At $2,500 you can add new tires and have a great car for the low book amount when you are done putting on the tires. Who knows, maybe you will want to put a lift kit and huge tires, we didn’t want to put tires on and lock you into our choice in tires. This way it is up to you, the sky is the limit. How many jacked up Kia Sportages do you see every day? You could have a very unique vehicle if you put the time and effort into this car, or you can have a nice reliable car for driving in any weather.
